This page explains how to delete your GLAUC-STRAT Calc account and what happens to your data. GLAUC-STRAT Calc is published on Google Play and the App Store by Jordan Liu.
Delete your account in the app
- Open GLAUC-STRAT Calc and sign in.
- Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Read what will be deleted, then tap Delete Account to confirm.
You do not need your password. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on that device.
Ask us to delete your account
If you cannot use the app, email support@glaucstrat.com from the email address on your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We will confirm the request with you and complete it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in details: email address and password.
- Your profile: name, date of birth, sex, ethnicity, occupation and registration number.
- The links between your account and any clinicians or patients.
- For patients who did not agree to research data collection: all of your assessment results.
What is kept
- Patients who agreed to research data collection: your assessment results are kept for glaucoma research without anything that identifies you. Your patient ID is replaced with a random research code that cannot be linked back to you, and location is removed. Your age band, sex and ethnicity are kept with the clinical results.
- Clinicians: assessments you recorded stay in your patients' histories so they can keep following their progress. Your name and account are removed from them.
- Backups: encrypted backups are kept for 14 days for disaster recovery. Deleted data drops out of them within 14 days.
We may also keep information where the law requires us to. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
